Before you start
You can take your photo using the camera on your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
Find information on browser compatibility
Make sure you:
- are in a well-lit area with no shadows on your face
- are in front of a plain background, with no people or objects behind you
- are facing the camera
- have a neutral expression with your mouth closed
- are not wearing a hat, tinted or thick-rimmed glasses, or anything else that covers your face.
Your face must be fully visible, so don't wear a head covering unless it's for religious or medical reasons.
You can try up to 5 times to take an acceptable photo. If you're unsuccessful, you can either wait 14 days and start a new application, or get your photo taken for free at a RealMe partner store.
